Everything. We went there for our 25th wedding anniversary and ended up being very sick. We were stuck in our room for 3 days. The staff was so phenomenal they brought us extra pillows, offered us bread, crackers and tea. They were the most friendly people we have ever encountered in the hospitality industry. The rooms and hotel were immaculate. The little things that housekeeping did went above and beyond, little bits of origami with the toilet paper and tissues, and personal note. Will 1000% stay again. Even though we were unable to take advantage of the facilities the pool, kiddie pool and hot tub were well taken care of.

The pool was an excellent surprise for our kids. The slide was much bigger than we thought and offered hours of fun. The hot tub was well balanced. I like salt water pools, so you may not like it if you don't like them, but it wasn't overly salty. Breakfast was easy with different options, not gourmet but most of the family was satisfied. Customer service was fantastic. Family suite with 2 queens and sleeper sofa worked well, not luxury but very good for the value. Convenient to be walking distance from a Walmart. Easy drive to downtown Galena.

The staff at the Country Inn & Suites, Galena, was exceptional! We had a bit of a problem with other guests knocking on our door so we contacted the front desk. The person we spoke to actually contacted the general manager at home and she came in to take care of the issue. It was resolved pretty quickly and we were contacted to let us know. The general manager told us that if we had any other issues, call the front desk immediately. I was very impressed by the level of customer service given to us.

Breakfast choices seemed abundant and the staff worked to maintain the servings timely and hot. They even sent out for a jug of milk when the milk dispenser was empty. The staff sanitized the tables and chairs after a family left whose kids appeared to have colds and were continuously coughing. They continued cleaning throughout the morning. The room was pleasant and the traffic flow seemed logical. The hot tea and coffee by the front door was very handy. My key card worked everytime. The TV worked easily. Bathroom fixtures appeared to be new and everything was clean.

Love the hours for check in 3 pm and check out is noon. Love the pool hours 11 pm reopens at 6 am. Outstanding breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, oatmeal, muffins, cereal, fruit, juice, and coffee. Staff is very kind and helpful. Very very clean hotel. Clean rooms and clean pool. Sturdy slide. Very spacious hot tub. Cool arcade area for the kids. Vending machines are all over. Easy to get to rooms. Culvers is right across the street. Walmart is down the street for convenience.

This is the 4th time I stayed at this hotel. The breakfast is GREAT for families with kids. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are quite clean. The pool is fun for kids because is has a slide and now they are using a salt-water system!!! No more red eyes from chlorine. I liked that very much.

The rooms were clean with very comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub facility was great and we especially enjoyed the wide variety at the continental breakfast each morning. The staff was very pleasant, and fresh cookies were a sweet treat upon arrival. Great location to downtown, just a short 7-minute drive.

Breakfast was good, pool area was great! Water slide, area for little kids to play that is fenced in, spa was warm and felt great to work out sore muscles, and of course a place to swim and play. Rooms were comfortable.

Included free breakfast was impressive! Larger swimming pool size was also very good with separate free towels at pool site. Microwave and small fridge plus small coffee maker with coffee provided in room.

The room size was good for 3 of us but was expensive. The breakfast was amazing both days we stayed. The pool was exceptional! There was a separate kiddy pool with a slide where the water was nice and warm, a large hot tub, and a regular size pool with a large water slide that my child had me take her down over and over lol.
